Why is NOW the time to buy??

You may have heard:

1. It's still a Seller's Market

             But did you know that there are more houses on the market than there were during the craze of 2021-2022? This means more options for buyers, less of a bidding war market, and Sellers have an easier time finding a new home after their's are sold!

2. Interest Rates are High

             Rates vary based on the health of our economy. After the housing market crash of 2008,  our economy went into a recession. This caused interest rates to slowly drop (beginning in 2010), and continued to be push lower as we went into 2020.

               As our nation started to spend, inflation began. To control inflation, interest rates have gone back to pre-housnig market crash numbers. The low interest rates of the last 10 years just weren't sustainable for a healthy economy.

3. Texas Growth Rates are falling/stabilizing

               Fort Worth’s population grew by 6.6% from 2020-21 and is projected to grow by an additional 5% from 2021-2023! This growth rate is well above the national average and continues to attract new residents and businesses to the city. It also signifies a strong job market and corresponding demand for housing which means now is the perfect time to buy or sell!

4. You should wait to buy

                Inflation is here, and inflation will continue. While interest rates are predicted to stabilize within 1-2 percent of current rates, inflation is expected to continue to raise 5-6% a year! The neighborhood you have your eye on, may cost you much more in the near future.

5. Austin is the cool town in Texas

Fort Worth has become a town filled with small business and public outdoors spaces, and every week brings news of new developments of innovative recreational spaces (meet you at Dickie's Skate Park!), theme parks (Peppa Pig, anyone?), and cultural experiences (the plans for the Juneteenth Museum are beautiful!).
