Summer Favorites in the Fort!
If you are on my mailing list (::cough::cough:: sign up below!), you will have received a few of my favorite things this Summer. In this post, I am focusing on the South Main, a.k.a. SoMa, District of Fort Worth.
This part of town has come alive with shops, eateries, and meet up spaces that is both hip and family friendly.
Check out a few of my favorites!
Favorite Place to Shop: Morgan Mercantile
121 S Main Street, Suite A Fort Worth, Texas 76102
Not only does this shop smell fantastic (really, it's amazing, I bought the scent to bring home!), it has unique & perfect Fort Worth inspired gear to make all of your Dallas friends aware that Fort Worth is indeed the better city. ;)
Favorite Place to Eat: Funky Picnic
401 Bryan Ave., Suite 117 Fort Worth, TX 76104
This place is a hit for brunch. With Farmers' Markets in the parking lot, mimosas to share, and board games that even keep the littles busy, this is a perfect place to gather with the family or a group of friends!
Favorite Photoshoot/Relax/Play Area: Art Tooth Micro-Park
125 S. Main St. Fort Worth, TX 76104
This Micro Park is perfect for a shaded rest, after roaming around all there is to offer in the SoMa District. There's a sandbox for the kids, milk crates to build with, and a gorgeous "Play" Mural with climbing structures where my boys loved doing miniature parkour.
It is definitely a hidden gem you don't want to miss.
